President Barack Obama sits in on a "Becoming A Man" group at Hyde Park Career Academy during his Chicago visit. I'd like to see more Black men take up this task of teaching their young brothers what it means to fulfill the promise of manhood. This is a vital issue as too many young black men are falling by the wayside due to faulty self-concepts and a severe lack of guidance. President Obama is a true role model and sets a shining example for everyone but specifically for young black men who have never received the kind of compassionate guidance needed to lead their families & communities. Within this generation lies the treasures of our greatest days ahead but it will take focused effort and understanding of the history that has brought us to this place to get us there. And I'm loving all the awards lining the walls in this pic ;-) I'd like to know what they're all for ... ~ KT
